Abstract
Starting from the understanding of recessive ideological and political education, this paper analyses the necessity of it, and further analyses the ways of implementing it in colleges and universities, to correctly understand and fully grasp the characteristics of their college students, vigorously carry out it, and give full play to the complementary role of explicit ideological and political education and recessive ideological and political education, as well as the subjective initiative of educators and educatees. The concept of humanistic care is penetrated into it, and the unity of students' subjectivity and teachers' dominance, and the unity of moral commonness and students' individuality are insisted on. At the same time, implicit ideological and political education, as a process of cultivating virtue and ideological and political quality, which is widely infiltrated, hidden, and unconsciously educated, is important for building a harmonious socialist society in terms of direction assurance, propaganda and guidance, practice shaping and contradictory adjustment.
