Abstract

In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, the educational teaching mode is diversified. Among them, "MOOC" which takes multimedia and computer as the carrier has become a new educational teaching mode. MOOC is a new modern teaching method based on network resources and network technology. It changes the traditional teaching methods, respects the main position of students, and improves the enthusiasm and autonomous learning ability of students. At present, the rise of the new form of network MOOC provides more ways for college English learning. In order to improve the quality of college English teaching and enhance students' comprehensive ability, this paper analyzes the problems existing in college English teaching, expounds the necessity of applying MOOC to college English teaching, and puts forward strategies for the application of MOOC in college English teaching.
