Abstract

1953 - 1956 Henan Province established three urban national autonomous regions. Taking Kaifeng Hui Autonomous Region as an example, the operation history is interpreted at the political level. The main policy is embodied as "sympathy" and "autonomy". The result of the operation is the effective integration of inter-ethnic politics, and in this way, China’s Ideal New Ethnic Relations.
