Abstract
This article focuses on the ideological and political education (IPE) of curriculum from the perspective of foster virtues and educate people. With the idea of curriculum IPE being put forward, it has become a new direction of education to build a pattern of all-round education. However, at present, there are many difficulties in promoting this teaching, such as the lagging educational concept and the lack of teachers' ability. In order to explore the effective path, this article first expounds the theoretical basis of curriculum IPE, including the connotation of foster virtues and educate people, the essence of curriculum IPE and the basis for their integration; Then, the challenges and opportunities are deeply analyzed and presented intuitively with survey data and tables; Finally, the teaching principles such as systematization and cooperation are put forward, as well as strategies such as optimizing the design of curriculum objectives and excavating teaching content. The research shows that by clarifying the theoretical basis, facing up to the challenges and grasping the opportunities, and implementing the corresponding strategies according to the teaching principles, the IPE of the course can be promoted and the fundamental task of foster virtues and educate people can be realized. It can also provide theoretical and practical reference for the high-quality development of IPE in universities.
