Abstract
The color and pattern design language of Miao Costume in Longlin, Guangxi is a cultural wealth worthy of further exploration and inheritance. This article is devoted to discussing the design language and cultural meaning contained in the colors and patterns in Miao Costume in Longlin, Guangxi, and providing a brand-new perspective for the continuation of national culture and the innovation of modern design by carefully analyzing its unique aesthetic characteristics. In this article, the color application of Longlin Miao costumes is analyzed in detail, involving common colors, collocation rules and cultural symbols; At the same time, the design language of clothing patterns is interpreted, and the pattern elements, composition skills and cultural expression are discussed. These analyses reveal the unique aesthetic value and cultural depth of Miao costume design language. It is found that the color and pattern design of Longlin Miao costumes contains rich cultural significance and has broad application potential in the field of modern design. Combining traditional elements with modern design concepts will help to create innovative works with both national characteristics and modern aesthetics.
