Abstract
Under the background of globalization and the rapid development of information technology, FLE (Foreign Language Education) is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The purpose of this study is to explore how AI (Artificial intelligence) technology can empower FLE and promote the innovation and development of its model. In this paper, the application status and potential of AI in FLE are systematically analyzed, and successful cases are selected for in-depth analysis to reveal the key success factors of AI empowering FLE. The research results show that AI has significantly improved the efficiency and quality of FLE through innovative means such as intelligent teaching content and resources, personalized learning paths and strategies, and intelligent evaluation and feedback mechanism. FLE under AI empowerment pays more attention to learners' individual differences and needs, and achieves more accurate teaching and evaluation. To sum up, this study believes that AI provides new possibilities and challenges for FLE, and its application prospect is broad. In the future, we should further strengthen technology research and innovation, strengthen teacher training and support, and strengthen policy guidance and support to give full play to the potential of AI in FLE.
