Abstract

In the new era, college English teaching is facing new challenges and opportunities. Ideological and political teaching in college English curriculum is not only a new teaching idea, but also a new topic in college English curriculum reform.Taking private colleges as an example, this paper discusses the effective ways to carry out ideological and political education in college English courses, and discusses the new ideological and political teaching model in order to deepen the ideological and political education in college English, build a new pattern of three-dimensional education, and realize the full integration of English teaching and ideological and political education.
