Curriculum ideological and political education is the guarantee to implement the goal of moral education in colleges and universities. The scientific spirit, innovative spirit, and engineering ethics literacy involved in computer network courses are all indispensable moral qualities in the process of cultivating engineering students, and the implementation path in the teaching process determines the effect of curriculum ideological and political education. This paper discusses the focus of ideological and political education in computer network course from three aspects: the construction of ideological and political ability of professional teachers, the mining of the integration of professional knowledge and ideological and political education, and the implementation strategy of ideological and political education. It also takes the teaching content "transmission control protocol" as the implementation case to discuss how to sort out knowledge points, standardize construction of ideological and political elements, choose the intersection of knowledge points and ideological and political elements, as well as strategies about specific implementation and teaching effect evaluation. Through the above elaboration on the implementation path of curriculum ideological and political education in computer network courses, we can ensure the double harvest of professional knowledge education and curriculum ideological and political education.
