Abstract
This paper establishes an empirical model to explore the relationship between the demand and influencing factors of commercial health insurance in China based on the Two-way fixed effect model, and use the 2013-2020 commercial health insurance data to studies the factors affecting the commercial health insurance demand and the causes of regional imbalance. The results show that the education level, the youth population support ratio and the income of the social basic medical insurance fund had a significant positive impact on commercial health insurance demand. The influence of different factors on the eastern, central and western regions varies greatly.
