Abstract
With increasing requirements of poverty alleviation and clean energy development sustainability, photovoltaic poverty alleviation (PVPA) projects have attracted much attention. To ensure the successful construction and implementation of PVPA, encouraging the active participation of PV companies is very important and necessary. Risk assessment occupies a necessary position during the whole cycle life of the PVPA project from the perspective of PV companies. Considering the potential risks of the project and ambiguity of decision makers, this paper intends to identify risk factors and proposes an interval type-2 fuzzy TOPSIS model to make a reliable and comprehensive risk assessment of the PVPA project for photovoltaic companies to minimize the loss and ensue project success.
