Abstract

The Internet of Thing is changing the world as the Internet did. Plenty of enabling technologies has been emerging, including WINSs, WSNs, ad hoc networks, wireless ad hoc sensor networks, MANET, and RFID. This paper aims to distinguish the definition of these terminologies and illustrate the relationship between them. Furthermore, the benefits and drawbacks will be discussed through the comparison of the key approaches of these technologies.
