Abstract
It is very important and necessary to carry out teaching work on art design in colleges and universities, and it is of great significance to carry out such teaching work to enhance students' imagination, creativity and innovation. However, colleges and universities in frontier areas are trapped by various objective reasons, so it is difficult to freely transfer teaching resources and promote students to make greater development and progress in the field of art design. Combined with the objective reality and practical difficulties in frontier areas, this paper expounds how teachers should carry out art design teaching in colleges and universities in frontier areas, so as to help all students in frontier areas to enhance their artistic imagination and artistic innovation.
