Abstract
With the development of science and technology, people's living standards are getting higher and higher, and they are paying more and more attention to food safety. The problem of food safety has become a global problem and a major threat to public health. The food safety is directly linked with the national economy and people's livelihood of the country. It also involves the steady development of society, which has become a major measure of the legal construction, social management and quality of people's life in a country. Therefore, the responsibility of the food safety regulator is very heavy, especially in rural areas. Due to its remote location and difficulty in regulation, the food safety regulatory authority is the weakest link in the regulatory framework for food safety. Therefore, in the future development, it is necessary to reform the food safety regulatory agencies, strengthen personnel training and constantly improve law enforcement in order to improve food safety in rural areas.
