Abstract
Psychological capita comprised of self-efficacy, optimism, hope and resilience, has a positive impact on study-related outcomes. This paper is aimed to provide empirical evidence on the relationships between positive psychological capita and learning engagement of undergraduate students; with positive emotion as a mediator, to examine the mechanism linking positive psychological capita and learning engagement. The participants are 211 undergraduate students. With confirmatory factor analyses and structural equation model, the results indicate the predictive relationship between positive psychological capita and learning engagement. Furthermore, the relationship between positive psychological capita and learning engagement was not mediated by positive emotion.
