Abstract

This paper reviews the main ideas of Prof. Fang Zhihui’s lectures in Guangzhou, who achieved tenure in the University of Florida. It covers the genre, steps, techniques and strategies, and assessment criteria of academic writing with a view to giving enlightenment to the teaching of academic writing in our country at the present stage.
