Abstract

This paper analyzes the second classroom teaching of college English in independent colleges, the second classroom of college English emphasizes on the importance of English teaching to the students, demanding the teachers to grasp the content of teaching in the second classroom teaching of English, thus enhancing the students' awareness of independent learning and self-confidence, according to the independent English University which is the second classroom teaching the provides the reforms to cultivate the students' comprehensive English quality and oral ability. The second college English class in the independent colleges has relatively openness and flexibility which promotes the development of college English teaching and also promotes the improvement of the students' English and its oral English ability.
