Abstract
			Vocabulary is an indispensable part of language, and vocabulary teaching is an important part of the whole English learning system. With the development of modern information technology, the transmission of information is no longer just through words or voices, but in a multi-modal way. As with mobile devices, mobile learning that can happen at any time and any place is taking its shape. Based on the introduction to the theory of multimodality and mobile learning, this paper explores the possibility and effectiveness of combining mobile vocabulary learning with conventional college English classroom teaching through a 14-week comparative teaching experiment.
